We run focused training programmes that give your team leaders the practical skills they need: honest conversations, clear delegation, productive one-to-ones, and confident decision-making. No jargon. No filler slides. Just the stuff that changes how your teams work day to day.
Book a consultation See our programmesMost people get promoted into management because they were good at their previous job. That is a reward, not a preparation. The skills that made someone a great analyst or engineer are completely different from the skills they need to run a team of eight people through a difficult quarter.
We founded Clarity Management Skills to close that gap. Our programmes are designed around real workplace scenarios, not abstract theory. Participants practise giving feedback in pairs, run mock delegation conversations, and leave each session with a written action plan they can use the following Monday morning.
Every trainer on our team has held a management role for at least seven years. They have hired, fired, restructured, and coached. That lived experience shapes the training we deliver.
Each programme can be delivered on-site at your offices, at our training space in Wales, or remotely via video. Group sizes range from four to sixteen.
A two-day programme for people stepping into their first management role. Covers setting expectations, running one-to-ones, giving constructive feedback, and managing former peers. Participants receive a personal workbook and a 30-day follow-up call.
A single-day intensive focused entirely on the conversations managers dread: underperformance, attendance issues, conflict between team members, and salary discussions. Uses recorded role-plays so participants can review their own delivery.
Half-day workshop that helps managers stop firefighting and start planning. We audit a real week from each participant's calendar, identify time sinks, and build a prioritisation framework they can apply immediately. Includes a follow-up email template pack.
One-day course that transforms annual reviews from a box-ticking exercise into a genuine development conversation. Managers learn to write clear objectives, link feedback to evidence, and handle disagreements during the review itself.
A three-day residential programme for experienced managers moving into director-level roles. Covers strategic thinking, stakeholder management, financial literacy for non-finance leaders, and building a leadership identity. Limited to eight participants per cohort.
We design custom training around your organisation's specific challenges. Recent examples include a six-session programme for a logistics company managing shift workers and a four-week course for a tech firm transitioning to hybrid work. Pricing depends on scope.
From first conversation to follow-up, here is what happens when you work with us.
A 30-minute phone or video call where we learn about your team structure, current challenges, and what success looks like for you.
We select or adapt the right modules, confirm dates, group sizes, and logistics. You receive a detailed outline within five working days.
Interactive sessions with live exercises, peer feedback, and personal action plans. No death by PowerPoint.
Each participant gets a 30-day check-in call to review progress on their action plan and troubleshoot any sticking points.
Honest feedback from managers who completed our programmes.
"I had been managing a team for two years before this course and realised I had been avoiding every difficult conversation. The role-play exercises were uncomfortable at first, but by the end of the day I felt genuinely prepared. My first real feedback conversation the following week went better than any I had attempted before."
"The new manager foundations course gave me a structure I could actually use. Before, I was just reacting to whatever landed on my desk. Now I run proper one-to-ones, I delegate with clear outcomes, and my team knows what I expect. Worth every penny."
"We booked the bespoke programme for our warehouse supervisors. The trainers spent a full day on-site understanding our operation before designing the course. That preparation showed: every example and exercise was relevant to our actual daily problems."
Quick answers to the things people ask most often.
Our standard programmes work best with groups of four to sixteen. Smaller groups get more individual attention; larger groups benefit from richer peer discussion. For groups over twelve, we typically add a second trainer.
Yes. We run remote sessions over Zoom or Teams with breakout rooms for pair exercises. Remote sessions are usually split into shorter half-day blocks across multiple days so participants stay focused.
A single-day open programme starts at £495 per person. In-house delivery for a group of up to twelve is typically between £2,400 and £3,800 per day depending on customisation. We provide a detailed quote after the discovery call.
Participants receive a certificate of completion. Our senior leadership programme can be mapped against the CMI Level 5 framework, though we are not a CMI-accredited centre. If formal accreditation matters to your organisation, we can discuss options during the discovery call.
Three to four weeks is ideal for standard programmes. Bespoke in-house work needs six to eight weeks lead time so we can conduct the on-site research and design phase properly.
Tell us about your team and we will suggest the right programme. No obligation, no hard sell.
